A driver searching for a space at the end of the driving period burns time and fuel and may end up outside a secure area. Parking should be chosen before departure, not in the final minutes.
For regular lanes, a carrier can build a short list of trusted locations and prices. Dispatchers can then plan with evidence and include the fee in the original calculation.
Model scenario: reserving a guarded space for €28 can avoid a 35 km search at 30 litres per 100 km, roughly €17 of fuel and an hour of driver time. The security premium is then far smaller than the headline difference between free and paid parking.
